THINGS TO DO IN EASTERN TEXAS

We hope you enjoy your stay in our neck of the woods. Discover nature on the ranch or, at nearby lakes, or in one of the region's four national forests or nineteen state parks and visit the lovely shops and delicious restaurants in Mount Vernon. Explore the area and learn about the history of the Republic of Texas and early statehood times. Talco, TX is a great place to be part of the outdoors. Take part in fishing, hiking, and climbing within minutes of our cottages. You can also visit the various museums in Talco, such as the Alamo Mission Museum of Franklin County and the Edison Phonograph Museum. You can try other activities in Lake Bob Sandlin State Park as well.

We believe you'll find this a wonderful place to visit time and time again.
